Help Florida Families Prepare Before the Next Storm

Every hurricane season, thousands of Florida families face power outages, flooding, communication failures, & evacuation orders. Hurricane Help Florida is working to change that by putting critical emergency supplies directly into the hands of residents before disaster strikes.

On September 24, 2026, Hurricane Help Florida and StormResQ will host the 2026 Hurricane Preparedness Kit Distribution Day at the Bob Buckhorn River Center in Tampa, distributing disaster preparedness kits and pet preparedness kits while educating families about emergency readiness and recovery resources.

Hurricane Help Florida is excited to host this unforgettable evening of laughter, community, and generosity. On May 29, 2025, we’ll come together at Jackson’s in Tampa to raise much-needed funds to support families still rebuilding after the devastation of recent hurricanes. The night promises heartfelt moments, a comedy roast, and a chance to make a lasting impact on our communities.
